A banquet hall upstairs, and a golf cart garage downstairs, this is a multi-purpose commercial building. Since completion, we’ve been back on site to make one expansion, and then another. From the gorgeous timber framed entry to the wide-open ballroom, this 14,000 sq. ft. facility delivers.
We brought our love of the west into the design of this building. Right away, visitors to the building are welcomed to a portes-cochère, or carriage porch, on the circular drive. Looking up, they see massive timbers intricately arranged in a visually pleasing, and extremely strong, fashion. Inside the banquet facility, there is a grand open ballroom with stunning views of Massachusetts, a dining area, and a bridal suite upstairs. Off the ballroom is a giant deck, perfect for entertaining while taking in the beautiful sunset. A clever railing system was implemented so it would not block the views.
This was the first building built at GreatHorse and it set the standard for the design of the other buildings at the club.
