Timber Frame Pavilion with Hammer Beam Truss, N. Granby, CT

Featuring hammer beam trusses with powder coated strapping, this outdoor living pavilion is exceptionally crafted.

Additional features include mortise & tenon construction, exposed tongue & groove pine ceiling with heavy timber rafters, and authentic joinery with hardwood oak pegs. The timber frame was precision cut on our state of the art CNC machine.

This pavilion features a scarf joint on a curved member. The scarf joint, even on a straight member, is already a complex type of joinery. Incorporating the curve as well makes it one of the most advanced and stylized pieces of joinery in the structure. This type of precision can only be accomplished with our CNC technology.

All in all, the hammer beam truss design makes this pavilion extraordinary. The design certainly makes a statement in this outdoor living space.
